Humble beginnings: A native Angeleno, I wanted to be a screenwriter or work in script development. So, I took my first college internship with a fancy boutique production company in Hollywood. Covering and green lighting scripts was truly fun, but I saw too many staplers hurled about, so I decided to try interning in advertising the following summer. It felt like a better fit.

Working in the Bay Area for most of my writing career has given me a breadth of experience writing both B2C and B2B copy for brands across finance, tech, telecommunications, lifestyle and other industries (like, prunes). My expertise spans digital, traditional and direct marketing projects that include branding campaigns, content strategy + editing, email campaigns, radio spots, guerrilla campaigns, video scripts, mission statements + manifestos, digital assets (Meta, TikTok), and brand guidelines. I have worked with in-house marketing departments, advertising agencies and start-ups.

Outside my writing career, I enjoy watching comedy, feeding my inner bookworm (I still read paper books) and playing with photography. I particularly love to photograph dogs as I come across them—I have my own but I love them all. I also have an abundance of short stories that need endings, and a long-form novel in the works.

I have a knack for foreign accents and odd voices. It's likely because my dad was a radio reporter for KFWB Los Angeles for 35 years, as well as a voiceover actor. He was the original Kibbles n Bits dog! I picked up a lot from him by going to auditions with him as a kid. And yes, I'd love to do voiceovers and often do to “save” for clients. Until then, I write copy and I love it, too.

Random tidbits: Piscean, INFJ, Enneagram 2w3, and proud Lakers fan. I’m pretty woo-woo until the last bit here, eh?
